We’re Matty and Becca — the pair behind Timber & Blade. We’ve spent more than two decades combined in the hair industry, starting out side by side early in our careers. Over the years, that shared experience grew into a vision of building something of our own: a barbershop shaped by skill, intention, and a sense of home.
Matty is the one you’ll find behind the chair. He brings a thoughtful, expressive approach to his work, treating each cut as a chance to connect and take care of the people who sit in his chair. For him, barbering is honest work — a way to support our family while giving others a place to feel steady and walk out looking their best.
I’m Becca, the one keeping things running smoothly in the background. I’m detail‑minded and grounded, making sure the shop feels organized, welcoming, and built to last. Together, we choose products that are straightforward, dependable, and inspired by the natural world — the same kind we trust for our own family.
When we’re not at the shop, we’re usually with our little boy, our old dog, and our prickly cat, sharing good meals, music, and time with the people we love. Nature is a big part of who we are — I grew up in the Appalachian foothills, and Matty along the Golden Isles — and one of our hopes is to explore more of it together in an RV someday.
Timber & Blade is, at its heart, a family barbershop. A place built with care, where you can settle in for a moment and leave feeling put‑together and confident.
